此句是询问对方星期几时常用的交际用语。
其答语用“It is…”。
eg：—What day is it today？今天星期几？
—It's Monday.今天星期一。
“day”为可数名词，其复数形式为days。
eg：You can stay at home for three days.
你可以在家呆三天。

eg：Please smell the soup！请闻闻这汤！
此句是谈论天气时常用的交际用语。回答时常用表示天气情况的形容词。
eg：—How is the weather today?
今天天气怎么样？

谈论天气是西方人见面时互相寒暄、打开话题、摆脱冷场和尴尬局面的最佳选择。此句还可以跟“What's the weather like？”互相替换。即：
