1. progress /'prəʊɡres/ n. 进步
eg: Making more progress will be very difficult for him.
取得更大进步对于他来说将会很难。
progress为不可数名词,其前不能用冠词a修饰,也没有复数形式,其前常用great, good, much等词修饰。常见短语:make progress (in...)“(在……方面)取得进步”。
eg: I will make progress in English this year.
