[观察] Could you speak more loudly？你能大点儿声说吗？
He could sing well when he was young.他小时候能唱得很好。
[探究] (1)could用作情态动词，意为“能；可能”，表示请求、建议或推测等，比can语气更委婉，作答时用can，_______(能/不能)用could。
(2)could也可作为can的过去式，表示________(过去/现在)的能力。如：
