1. —What size are your shoes, Mike? 迈克,你穿多大号的鞋?
—Size 7. 7号。
What size意为“什么尺码”,用来询问衣服、鞋、帽的尺码。
结构:What size+be动词+衣服(鞋、帽等)?
其答句句型有3种形式:
(1)Size+数字.
(2)衣服(鞋、帽等)+be动词+size+数字.
(3)主语(人)+wear(s)+size+数字(+shoes/...).
例句:
—What size is your shirt? 你穿多大号的衬衫?
—Size 42. 42号。
2. Your feet are bigger than mine. 你的脚比我的大。
同类事物的比较:本句than前后比较的对象是同类事物“feet”,因此后面的feet省略,用名词性物主代词(如mine,yours,his,hers,theirs等)或名词所有格(如Mike’s,Amy’s等)来替代同类事物。
例句:Zhang Peng is taller than John.
张鹏比约翰高。
Chen Jie’s dress is longer than Amy’s.
陈杰的连衣裙比埃米的长。
3. You look taller than me. 你看起来比我高。
